The collection presents the data of the elections of elders held in Vilnius City Municipality since 2019. The territory of Vilnius city is divided into neighborhoods, while neighborhoods are divided into smaller administrative units – wards. “Elder” means a representative elected by a residential area or community who works on public grounds and performs the rights and duties established by law. By decision of Vilnius City Council, the warden shall be granted a monthly benefit of EUR 30 to cover expenses related to the activities of the warden. The object of the kit is the results of the candidate who participated in the election. The set includes the election data of elders (election date, voting start and end dates, round) and information of candidates for elders (ward, ward, name of the candidate (s), goals of the election programme, number of votes received and indication of whether or not the election was made).
