The organization provides highest-level specialized and individualized oncology healthcare services to Lithuanian and foreign residents; provides healthcare institutions with methodological, methodical and other assistance on cancer control issues; disseminates oncology scientific knowledge to the public and incorporates it into education and health care; and, within its competence, represents Lithuanian oncology in European and international organizations.
