This is an independent joint-stock company. The company's shares (100 %) are owned by Marijampolė Municipality. The company's objectives are: to provide water supply and wastewater management throughout the territory of Marijampolė Municipality; to improve the quality of supplied water so that it meets the requirements of Hygiene Norm HN24:2003; to reduce environmental pollution by treating wastewater to environmental protection requirements (LR Aplinkos ministro 2001-10-05 įsakymas Nr. 495 „Dėl aplinkosaugos reikalavimų nuotekoms tvarkyti patvirtinimo“); and to develop water supply and wastewater disposal networks, enabling all municipality residents to access this service.
