The municipalities of Telšiai County (Telšiai, Plungė and Mažeikiai districts and Rietavas municipality) established a company on 30 December 2003. The company's main function is to implement and operate a regional waste management system covering the collection, transport, processing and disposal of waste throughout the territory administered by the municipalities.
