The organization is a specialized inpatient medical institution providing psychiatry and forensic psychiatry services to all residents of Lithuania. The institution also treats patients who have been found not criminally responsible by court decision and to whom compulsory medical measures are applied under conditions of general, enhanced, or strict supervision. It also provides internal medicine and infectious disease treatment, radiological diagnostics, mental health nursing, outpatient and dental care services. The organization performs physiotherapy, massage, and occupational therapy procedures and provides laboratory diagnostic services.
