The budgetary institution formulates state policy in the fields of personal health care, public health care, including alcohol, narcotics and tobacco control, pharmaceutical and other activities related to pharmaceutical products, and compulsory health insurance, organizes, coordinates and controls their implementation, and, in cases provided for by law, implements them in the management areas entrusted to the Minister of Health.
