The organization operating under the Ministry of the Interior is responsible for state border protection, control of illegal migration flows and combating smuggling. It organizes and carries out border checks, monitors and analyzes migration processes, and also strengthens border control infrastructure and implements technical and physical security measures. In addition, it participates in ensuring national defence, especially in the face of hybrid threats, and cooperates with other institutions and international partners.
