Oversees and maintains the following areas: Business environment – seeks to help businesses develop operations by creating better conditions for attracting investment to Lithuania, increasing exports and promoting the growth of business prosperity. Investments – strengthens the country's positions in international investment markets. Industry – reinforces and implements the tasks of an industrial state; ensures the attraction of EU funding. Innovation – creates and administers a unified national innovation promotion system. Export – promotes the export competitiveness of Lithuanian companies and its increase in international and domestic markets. European Union funds investments – shapes state policy on the attraction and allocation of European Union funds. Tourism – establishes principles for organizing tourism services, requirements for the provision of tourism services and the protection of travelers' rights, and the competence of state and municipal institutions in the field of tourism. State-owned enterprises – formulates state-owned enterprise governance policy, and organizes, coordinates and controls its implementation. International cooperation – participates in bilateral intergovernmental cooperation commissions; promotes and implements international cooperation policy. Public procurement policy – ensures the functioning of public procurement policy, supervises and administers it. Digital policy – shapes state policy in the areas of state information resources, document reuse and the development of the information society. European Semester – operates within the EU Member States' system for coordinating economic and employment policies. Lithuania's Progress – promotes, strengthens and implements the country's digital transformation, cybersecurity, dissemination of open data, digital maturity and creates the business environment and innovation ecosystem.
