A municipal budgetary institution operating in Vilnius District, composed of structural units, positions not included in structural units, and branches of the municipal administration — elderships (structural territorial subdivisions of the municipal administration). The municipal administration carries out the tasks formulated and the decisions adopted by the municipality’s political body — the municipal council — and implements the municipal territory development and public administration programs it has prepared.
