The organization is a special library of state significance whose purpose is to meet the cultural and informational needs of persons who are unable to read conventional printed text due to sensory (visual) impairments, physical functional limitations, developmental and complex disorders and other congenital or acquired health conditions, as well as learning difficulties. The library offers a diverse selection of literature, ensuring the possibility of accessing books by listening or by sensory means.
