An organization operating under the Ministry of Agriculture is the only accredited institution in Lithuania that administers the funds for state support for agriculture and rural development and for European Union support for agriculture, rural development and fisheries, and performs their payment and control functions. The organization is a budgetary institution financed from the State budget of the Republic of Lithuania and EU funds.
